Bay Area Takes Part In World Cup Draw

San Jose's PayPal Park held one of the many 2026 FIFA World Cup Draw events that took place in the San Francisco Bay Area, as fans patiently found out what countries were going to be playing against each other in the group stages of the tournament.

The fans gathered in San Jose, continue to express their excitement as each country was named off and placed into their groups as we were able to get a good glimpse in some of the action that would be taking place in the tournament.
Every year one of the biggest questions to answer, is who was the host nation/nations face? We now know who will kick off the opening match for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and that is Group A participants Mexico vs. South Africa. The other host nations consists of The United States vs Paraguay, and then Canada to take on the World Cup Qualifier Winner of either Italy/Northern Ireland/Wales/Bonsia and Jerzegovina.

There is a buzz all the way around this tournament, and the World Cup continues to showcase why it is one of the most important sports events that can take place.
There are some groups that have favorable matchup, but there is always drama when it comes to the world of football.
