The Town FC Look To Keep Their Momentum Against LAFC

The Town FC have officially settled into the 2024 season as they look to continue the momentum they have built up to this point against LAFC 2. Currently LAFC is sitting second in the standings in the Western Conference and The Town FC who look to climb higher in the standings against this Los Angeles team after defeating previously-undefeated North Texas SC 1-0 on their home pitch, and to give North Texas SC their first loss, in regulation, since late 2023.

We saw an impressive performance from both North Texas SC, and The Town FC as the teams played methodically on the pitch. Town FC goalkeeper Jacob Jackson took over keeper duties for Mikolaj Bieganski, who had played the previous seven games for The Town. He was able to show his skill set throughout the match reaching out and saving multiple chances on goal. The Town were able to showcase their depth after some players were left off the starting eleven due to injuries and such, but they were able to come together in order to hold things together. Through the game the teams were deadlocked, as both teams took advantage of their chances, but the game came down to The Town FC's Eduardo Blancas with a shot towards the top of goal to be the deciding goal.
